Advanced menu

Each Module/Window can have it's own preferences. Each Module/Window inherits preferences from the previous Module/Window loaded into TeSSH. TeSSH keeps track of which options have been changed from the inherited values.

So, in some sense, rather than storing the absolute preference values for a Module/Window, TeSSH stores the differences between the Module/Window and the inherited preferences.

If you click on the drop-down arrow in the upper-left portion of the Preferences window, you will get an advanced menu of options:
Advanced Preferences

Bold changed options
Causes options that are different from the inherited preferences to be shown in a bold font
Bold Global options
Causes options that are stored in the global INI file to be shown in a bold font
Relative options
The Bold option shows the difference relative to the inherited preferences.
Absolute options
The Bold option shows the difference relative to the base preferences.
Modules
Displays a sub menu of all Modules/Windows and allows you to select which Module/Window you wish to edit the preferences for. The easier way to do this is to open the Package Editor and select the Window or Module you desire, and the click the Preferences button within the editor window. But this advanced Modules menu can also be used at any time to change which module you are editing preferences for.
Inherited
Shows a sub menu of Modules/Windows that the current preferences inherit from. The order of this sub menu shows the inherited order, starting with the base preferences (Master Defaults). You can select one of these inherited windows to edit the preferences for that window/module.
Dependant
Shows a sub menu of Modules/Windows that inherited their preferences from the current preferences.
