Attributes

ANSI Attribute preferences
The server can send ANSI control codes to control how the text appears on the screen. Several ANSI codes are defined for making text bold, underlines, blink, reversed, strikeout, etc.

In TeSSH, you can remap these ANSI control codes to perform any function that you want. For example, instead of making text in bold font, many people prefer that the color of the text be highlighted (make brighter) instead.

The following options can be selected for any of the different ANSI code sequences:

Disable
The ANSI sequence is ignored and has no effect on the displayed text
Highlight color
The color of the following text is highlighted (made brighter).
Toggle Bright/Dim
The color of the following text is highlighted if the current color is dim, or, if the current color is already highlighted, the following text is made dim.
Bold font
The following text is made using bold characters.
Underline
The following text is underlined
Blink
The following text will blink on and off
Reverse video
The following text will be reversed: the foreground color becomes the background, and the background becomes the foreground.
Italic
The following text is made using italic characters.
Strikeout
The following text has a strikeout line through the characters.
